Why 2026 is Shaping Up to Be arc exams, Best Year Yet!

Since the start of this year, we’ve been busy processing exam entries for the Summer 2026 exam season. These exams start in earnest in one month’s time when Cambridge International examinations begin.

This Summer we’ve witnessed a significant increase in entries, up 40% on last summer. Why? Well, customer feedback shows we are a centre where learners feel genuinely supported and can be relied upon to be responsive, well‑organised, and focused on keeping things simple. And the net result of this…?

  • 35% of all ‘direct’ entries are referrals from previous learners/parents who have recommended us to family and friends.
  • Our partner entries, made by those delivering online tuition services or ‘in-house’ study groups have risen significantly this year given the exceptional service we offer coupled with competitive pricing.
  • Our 5* Google reviews give parents/learners confidence is using us as their preferred exam centre.
  • Our mock exams service has proved to be extremely popular. Not only is it extremely flexible, whereby you choose when to sit subject paper(s) within our mock exam window, rather than the exam centre specifying a date/time when you must sit papers. Add to this our predicted grade service for UCAS applications, it’s proved to be a hit with our customers!

But there’s more…

Our A level Science practical sessions, run in conjunction with our partner BioGrad Education, witnessed a marked upturn in entries. Of the 11 courses we are running, 10 are fully booked, resulting in an occupancy rate of 98%. Not even budget airlines come close to that figure! Next year we’ll be offering more courses to ensure we meet expected increase in demand.

We introduced card payments for the very first time, providing customers with an alternative payment method that best meet their needs.

We also permit exam deferrals, whereby customers can postpone exams they have entered to a future exam series. T&Cs and charges apply.

This Summer we are hosting GCSE Music, Dance and Drama subject exams for the very first time, collaborating with experts in their field who can assess the performance elements of these subjects. Next academic year we’ll be offering both GCSE and A levels in these subjects.

This year we’ve been in conversation with like-minded centres across the country, signposting learners who live outside of our geographic ‘influence’ to an exam centre closer to them. CB Tutoring and Exams (Cornwall) and Marvellous Minds (Kettering, St Albans & Bedford) are two examples that spring to mind. We’re now in discussion with private exam centres in and around London and Manchester, to promote their services to learners/parents who live nearby.

Ideally, we would welcome a network of private exam centres, nationally, who share our values. It’s something we’re working on.

Finally, we are also working on new initiatives we believe will enhance our exam offering next year and beyond. To ensure you don’t miss these developments, be sure to follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn to ensure you don’t miss out on any future announcements. And feel free to share the information published here with others, especially those outside of mainstream education, who would benefit from sitting their exams with us.
