All Awarding Organisations (AOs) impose strict examination entry deadlines dates to ensure they can efficiently plan the logistics of delivering exams, namely; Allocating resources, assigning examiners and printing examination materials to name but a few. Entries received after advertised deadlines can disrupt carefully scheduled processes and jeopardise provision of examination papers and delivery of results. AOs impose non-refundable โlate entryโ fees, for any entries made after the entry deadline date, to recover the costs associated with the additional processing requirements and to promote the submission of entries by the advertised closing dates.
