who we can help?
arc exams, formerly the Academic Enrichment Centre, provides assessment opportunities to learners who are typically outside of mainstream education, having done so since 2014. Our learners are chiefly based in and around the West Midlands/ Warwickshire area although some travel further afield to access our services. We have also partnered with Distance Learning Providers (DLPs) and tuition companies to provide assessment services for their learners too.
We host examinations for the majority of subjects at GCSE, A Level and IGCSE, as well as hosting A Level Science Practical Endorsement courses in collaboration with BioGrad Education at our dedicated laboratory in Birmingham.
We also assess Functional Skills, professional qualifications i.e. AAT, NEBOSH and University of Oxford admission test applications alongside generic university ‘distance learning’ students seeking an assessment venue close to home.
Our overriding aim is to provide you with a secure, welcoming setting where you can sit your examination(s), safe in the knowledge that our staff are dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service.
We are also planning to assist any learner seeking assessment services outside of our ‘catchment area’ by developing an Examination Centre Referral Service (ECRS). Put simply, we will find you an examination centre, close to your address, willing to accept you as a private candidate. Our intention is to ensure the overall cost of sitting your examination(s) will be substantially lower than those charged by private examination centres in your area.
