Are you a private candidate or home-educated learner looking to sit exams next Summer? Great news – arc exams is extending the entry deadline for Summer 2026 examinations, giving you extra time to secure your place.
New Extended Entry Deadlines!
All Subject qualifications (Except for Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs and IALs).
We have extended our entry deadline date from 7th February to 14th February, giving you a whole extra week before late entry fees come into effect
Pearson International GCSEs and IALs
Even better news! For learners sitting Pearson International GCSEs and/or IALs, the entry deadline date for these subject qualifications have been extended from 7th February to 13th March giving you an additional five weeks before late entry fees come into effect! We are able to do this because Pearson’s formal entry deadline date is one month later than UK GCSE and A Level entry deadlines.
We would encourage you to query any centre who charges you late entry fees for Pearson International GCSEs and IALs, any earlier than 7th March, as the entering centre will not incur late fees imposed by Pearson until 22nd March.

- More Time to Decide – Whether you’re waiting for mock results, completing coursework, or finalising your entry options, you now have extra time to register for your exams.
- Save You Money – Late Fees charged by centres are significant, typically an additional £100 per subject for GCSE/IGCSE and even more for each A Level subject entry. If you have missed the early February entry deadline charged by most centres, you can potentially avoid late entry fee charges by booking with arc exams.
Please note that whilst our examination entry deadlines have been extended, our Access Arrangement deadlines are unchanged.
