One of arc exams core objectives is furnishing students and parents with comprehensive examination data that helps them shape a brighter academic future.
Later this month we will be collating and publishing Summer 2024 grade analysis from all Awarding Organisations (AOs), enabling you to view qualification/subject market share and compare how subject grade distributions vary between each AOs. So be sure to follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn to ensure you get timely sight of this analysis that you wonโt find anywhere else.
In the meantime, feel free to take a look at the recently published report from Ofqual, focussing on Provisional Entries for GCSE, AS and A Level: SUMMER 2024. Itโs packed full of useful information relating to examinations entries made this summer.
Key headlines, subject entries increasing/decreasing, annual trends and much, much more. Did you know that GCSE entries were up 4.8% on the previous year? Why is that and which subjects accounted for that increase? For example, GCSE Combined Science entries were up 5% on the previous year, but single science subjects only increased by between 0.7% & 1.8%. Thinking about your GCSE science study options? Something to consider?
This Ofqual report is particularly helpful to those outside of mainstream education who may not have direct access to examination data/trends readily available to those in a school/college setting.
If you have any questions regarding this blog or any aspect of your examination requirements, feel free to email us or, alternatively, speak to one of the arc exams team on 0121 777 9444.
We look forward to hearing from you.
